A man, suspected to be handling finances of Manipurbased armed outfit People's United Liberation Front (PULF) and wanted in Manipur in four cases, was arrested here today, police sources said.
Sheikh Sadik Hussain alias Nazir (40) was caught by Delhi Police's Special Cell from Hauz Rani following a tip-off, they said.
Hussain, a graduate from Manipur University, is said to be the finance secretary of the outfit.
He was staying in the capital for past two years along with his wife, children and two sisters.
One of his sisters is a nurse in a city hospital while the other teaches in an engineering college in Faridabad.
Hussain claimed that he was running a business here.
He also claimed that he got a contract from Manipur with regard to some educational activities and was involved in it, sources said.
Police are verifying his claims.
