The protesters who blocked the main gate while strongly condemning the assault on Narayan and Milan, appealed to all concerned not to repeat such despicable activities in future.

Speaking to media persons at the protest site, VC Prof Ch Amuba lamented that policies of groupisms are being followed within the university since a long time back.
Such policies of groupism have severely affected the atmosphere of the university resulting in toward and ugly incidents.
The assault on Ksh Narayan and Milan was an off-shoot of such diabolic policy of groupism, the VC observed.
While appealing to all students to give up such attitude of groupism, Prof Amuba said that the Manipur University can march ahead only when students shed the mentality of groupism.
