Announcing that it will be checking for spurious edible and consumable goods without manufacturing and expiry dates, details of ingredients etc, the Tangkhul Mayar Ngala Long (TMNL) has appealed to all dealers, shopkeepers and the general public to cooperate with its volunteers when they come for checking such items.
A press release issued by the TMNL said that it will start its surprise checking any time from April 7 .
It further appealed to all dealers and shipowners to dispose off goods on or before the said date if they are without manufacturing and expiry dates and details of the ingredients.
