Crime branch sleuths today raided a hotel and arrested vice president of a renowned casino firm under the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act.
Deputy superintendent of police, Chandrakant Salgaoncar confirmed the arrest of Sanjay Kaushik (48), vice president of Casino Mint, which runs an off shore and a land based casino in the state.
Salgaoncar said the accused was picked up from a hotel at Dona Paula locality during wee hours when he was found with a 23-year old girl, who hails from Manipur.
However, the girl has not been arrested, neither has she lodged a complaint against Kaushik, he said.
