Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur (ZSUM) has urged the concerned authority of Autonomous District Council, Tamenglong not to allow the interference of politicians, bureaucrats and NGOs in the recruitment of primary teachers for ADCs.
Pledging to stand for the students' community, a statement issued by the chairman and public relations secretary of ZSUM asserted that the students' body is longing for good and qualified teachers who can transform the lives of the students for the better future through the medium of education.
It urged to stop any form of malpractices while also urging the politicians, bureaucrats and UGs to stay away from such kind of pressure or pose hindrance in the larger interest of the people of Tamenglong district.
The students' body further asked the concerned authority to follow the recruitment norms and stick strictly on merit basis.
It also advised the candidates not to bribe anyone in an attempt to get selected.
ZSUM is expecting many qualified youths to get selection in the recruitment.
It cautioned that the students' body will take up legal action against anyone involved in bribery and corrupt practices.
