Imphal, April 12 2010:
Refuting the charges of duping its members, State in-charge of National Self Employment Mission (NSEM) Tongkai Haokip has asserted that the company had never promise the members they would reap huge return from small investment.
Addressing a press conference in this connection at Manipur Press Club here today, Tongkai said that the confusion caused among the members of NSEM following the malicious charges of Manipur Self Help Employment Mission was unfortunate.
The company has never promise any of members that they could get huge return from small investment.
What the company has said is that they would get huge returns if the members could work for maintaining 100 percent growth, Tongkai clarified, adding that members who are not willing to work hard should not feel jealous of the benefit enjoyed by those who had worked hard.
He further clarified that none of the State in-charge or district in-charge Alto car achievers have collected money from any of the members.
On the basis of the declaration signed in the admission forms, the members have become distributors and invested their money after depositing the amount in the SBI account of the company.
So, there is no question of misusing their money for private use.
Tongkai appealed to the members to be wary of such false allegations.
