State government in a move to tackle with the resumption of functioning of department paralyzed by the cease work strike of the employees has asked all the heads of the department to furnish list of staff attended and absent in their respective offices.
A statement issued by the department of personnel and administrative reforms (personnel division) today claimed that some staffs have resumed duty in response to the appeal made by the Chief Minister with a warning to initiate disciplinary action against the absenting staff.
In the follow up action to the chief minister's warning, heads of department of the state government have been asked to furnish a list of staff who were present and those who were absent indicating clearly their names and designation in an office memorandum issued by the department of personnel and administrative reforms (personnel division) today.
The heads of department were also asked to furnish a minimum requirement of assistants, grade-IV and drivers in each department so that government could process for engagement for functionalizing the sections of departments under their control.
A separate advisory may be issued to all heads of department to carry out the same exercise so that their report can be verified by the administrative services.
