Imphal, April 20 2010:
Agricultural Management Training Agency (ATMA) conducted a day-long training programme for farmers at Phadang village in Ukhrul district on April 16 .
Around 50 farmers participated in the training programme during which resource persons including advisor of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ukhrul district Dr Loken, Somorendra and Dr Nimaichand imparted knowledge on new and improved method of farmings as resource persons.
An interaction session between the participating farmers and the resource persons had also been facilitated for better understanding.
After this successful conduct of the training programme at Phadang, ATMA is planning to organise similar training programmes in other parts of Ukhrul district.
