Imphal, January 15 2013:
Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) has reiterated its demand the Government of India for amicable settlement of the criminal acts committed by NSCN (I-M) like 'murdering 900 innocent Indian Kukis, uprooting 360 Indian Kuki villages and displacing 1,00,000 Indian Kukis' before any kind of agreement/settlement between Government of India and NSCN (IM) .
In a memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister, President of KIM Thangkhosei Haokip lamented that the plea of victimized Kuki people has ignored consistently while an agreement has been proposed with the NSCN (IM) .
Is ignoring the cry of the innocent Kukis killed and rewarding the culprits, the wisdom of the world's largest democratic Government?, the memorandum questioned.
