Md Alif Khan, the first ever Manipuri Muslim success in IIT exam in 104 ranks at the all India level was felicitated in a function organized by the Manipur State Minority Commission held today at Manipur Press club, Major Khul.
The felicitation function was attended by minister for MOBC, RD and PR and Fisheries, Md Allauddin as chief guest, chairman of the minority commission MA Helim Chaudury, commissioner of economic and statistic Ma Sattar, commissioner of Labour and Employment commissioner, AR Khan, deputy secretary MOBC, RD and PR, A Salam were also attended as president and guest of honours respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, minister Allauddin said "We should proud of Alif Khan, a person living with disability who secured 104 rank in the country's prestigious IIT exam.
Aliq right hand could perform any thing and he uses his left hand in doing work.
He has tough a lesson to the people living with disabilities that they can also do what a normal person can do, he said praising the hard work of Alif.
Md Alif is the son of Md Mufiz Khan and Zehuda Begum of Sangaiyumpham Part-1, Nungphou Bazar of Thoubal district and he prepared for the IIT exam by staying at Rajastan.
