Lions Club presents gift items to Children Home

In relation with the 133rd Birth Anniversary of Melvin John, Founder Lions Club International, the Lions Club of Imphal presented eatables and blankets to the children of Yaibilen Children Home situated at Keibi Sanapat.
A free eye care camp was also organized as part of the anniversary observation at Yaibilen Maheikol.
Speaking in the occasion, President, Lions Club of Imphal, I Brajabihari said that they are presenting the gift items to commemorate the 133rd Birth Anniversary of the founder of Lions Club International Melvin John.
He said that Lions Club is a large organization who has around 46,000 clubs around the globe.
The club has been helping the poor and desperate people.
He asked the authority of Yaibilen to contact the club for free eyes operation and glasses if any children of the children home need it.
Later Brajabihari presented five rice bags, 20 blankets, 20 kg of pea, one bag of potatoes, 10 litres of mustard oil, 10 kg of salt, 2 kg of soya nutrela and chilies.
