Imphal, May 20: Cyclone, Thangmeiband defeated Model Club, Chingamakha by five wickets in the IDCA Div I league cum knockout tournament at Thau ground today.

After bowling out the opponents batsmen for only 122 runs in the 29th over, Cyclone helped by a clinical knock of 44 runs off 45 balls from Narsingh and Akshaykumar�s blazing 32 from 28 deliveries reached 126 for the loss of five wickets with overs left in the 30 over game.

Akshaykumar, who also claimed two Model wickets was named man of the match.

Champ, Khagempali will play Trau, Kwakeithel tomorrow.
