AR tells IM men to pack up in Ukl

Imphal, May 20: Shortly after NSCN (IM) general secretary Th Muivah struck a tough stance and asked the Nagas to prepare for the worst and to be ready to fight for another 50 years, if necessary, Assam Rifles troops have reportedly asked the IM men in Ukhrul district to pack up and close their camps.

Disclosing this to The Sangai Express, a well placed source said that the Assam Rifles action is premised on the ground that the cease fire between the Government of India and the outfit does not officially cover Manipur.

The source further said that similar action is likely to be taken up in other districts like Senapati soon.
