Imphal, May 20: Accusing Dr Ibomcha of the Medicine Department of JN Hospital to seek a pardon from the party within May 27 and work out a compromise, the proscribed KCP today said if their warning is not heeded then its cadres will strike out at the doctor from the next day.

In a statement, the outfit said that the doctor nearly dealt the death blow to one of its cadres over a financial transaction and added that he had hired some cadres of another group when two KCP cadres went to meet him in connection with some cases.

The two were released after some time, said the outfit and thanked the organisation for releasing them without any harm.

Mincing no words, KCP said that Dr Ibomcha should not come under the impression that hired hands can protect him 24 hours a day and for the rest of his life.

The best option for him is to meet the party's leaders within May 27 and work out a solution or else stern punishment awaits him, said the statement.

The decision to serve the deadline and punish him if it is not accepted was taken during a meeting of the Central Committee of the outfit, added the statement.

The statement further said that the people who were suspected to have created chaos at Samaram by harassing the public were found innocent after a thorough investigation.
