Imphal, December 29: Alleging PWD engineers of misusing development fund under the pretext of UG intervention the Kuilong Village authority, Tamei Block fervently appealed to authority concerned to ensure inclusion of Kuilong SDC office and Tousem SDO office cum residential quarters in the 2005-06 ACA programme.

Cautioning all concerned against misusing funds meant for interior and remote areas of the State, the village authority also took serious note regarding the recent incident involving local MLA Z Mangaibou and PWD engineers.

Attempts are being made by the engineers to put the MLA in bad light despite Mangaibou�s sincere and relentless effort to put Kuilong area in the development map, said the body while maintaining that individuals trying to throttle development in remote areas would only scuttle endeavours to strengthen hill-valley relationship.
