Imphal, December 02: Unidentified armed persons shot and killed a non-Manipur person at Tuibuong forest gate area last night, reports our Ccpur coresspondent.

The person, identified as Nitu Sen, 31, s/o L Nikhil Sen, originally hailing from Agartala, Tripura state was later taken to the District Hospital here where he was pronounced dead.

His body was kept at the hospital mortuary and was handed over the relatives this afternoon.

Sources said that the deceased was engaging in repair work of pressure cooker, gas cylinders and other household items and roaming from place to place.
