Imphal, May 26: A team of the Narcotics and Affairs of Borders (NAB) led by its OC Y Munal seized one Kg of Heroin from a man at Lungoi bus parking five Kms west of Lamlai Police Station yesterday evening at around 4.30.The arrested man has been identified as V Rayson Vishang Tangkhul (61) s/o (L) V Wanglengshen of Yaingangpokpi Leiyaram Village.

Sources said that the plastic bag which contained the Heroin had the word �danger� inscribed on it.

The illegal substance is suspected to have come from Myanmar.

The seized item is worth around Rs 56 lakhs in the local market and around Rs one crore in the international market.
