Imphal, June 15: A felicitation function of the newly elected Outer Manipur MP Mani Charenamei was held at Mini Stadium, Tamenglong district headquarters on June 14 under the sponsorship of Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland).

Several imminent personalities from diverse field of life were present at the occasion where traditional gifts were presented to the MP elect.

In his speech, Mani Charenamei pledged commitment to fulfil important priorities like improvement of road and telecommunication and extension of railway service to expedite transportation of forest products as well as to preserve forest in the hill areas.
