In addition to formation of a JAC to deal with consequences connected to the January 26 ransacking of office room of Manipur Forward Youth Front (Mafyf) residents of Sagolband Mabudhou Mantri Leikai have resolved to prohibit reopening of the Front�s office at the locality.
A public meeting convened jointly by five organisations yesterday and presided by Thangjam Madhop resolved that no individual should be held responsible for the incident as the MAFYF office ransacking was carried out by a mob.
The meeting was also attended by family elders of those youths who were roughed up by Mafyf volunteers.
The JAC members comprise representatives of Sagolband Young Pioneers Orgn (SYPO), Sagolband Youth Development Assn, Sagolband Youth Development Orgn, Youth Welfare Front and Semgat Sagatpa Apunba Naharol.
Other resolutions include asking MAFYF to shift their office, ban on entry of strangers from 8 pm till 5 am with immediate effect.
Speaking to media persons today, SYPO�s L Rajib outrightly rejected allegations that Rs 50,000 and a camera were stolen from the MAFYF office amid the mob uprising.
