Imphal, January 28: The United people�s Front Manipur, Social Standard Club cum Youth Learners� Library (Khurai Nandeibam Leikai), Youth Social Club cum Information Centre (Ayang Palli Road, Khurai) and Youth Organisation Sporting Club (Khurai Konsam Leikai) have strongly condemned damages caused to office room of Manipur Forward Youth Front (Mafyf) located at Sagolband Mabudhou Mantri Leikai on January 26 evening.

Taking serious note of the incident, UPF stated that such act of arson and irresponsibility could not be tolerated under any circumstances.

There would be no leniency against those individuals who had spearheaded the criminal act, declared the Front.

Observing that the act was committed at the behest of some miscreants UPF decried exhibition of raw force in setting ablaze the office room rather than rely on matured approach in solving any differences.

While Social Standard Club cum Youth learners� Libra-ry interpreted the ghastly action as undermining con- tribution and endeavour of MAFYF in protecting human rights, Youth Organisation Sporting Club construed that the burning of MAFYF office is to cover up robbery carried out by the miscreants.
