Lamka, February 04: Student bodies of Churachandpur have called a 12-hour state wide general strike from 6 am of February 6 till 6 pm to protest non-fulfillment of their demands and the frequent bandhs and strikes called on the dates of important competitive examinations.

Warning the Govt.to pay heed to their demands without delay, the student bodies accused the Govt.of relying on delaying tactics with regard to their demands and cried foul on the alleged installation of 5MVA transformer.
