Three passengers of a Shaktiman who were coming from Churachandpur were thrashed black and blue by six men in combat fatigue after stopping the vehicle at Patlen at around 1 pm today for allegedly refusing to halt the vehicle earlier.
The victims who were beaten severely with clubs are currently undergoing treatment at RIMS.
The victims are identified as Md Kayamuddin (owner) of Kwakta ward no V, Oinam Romen (driver) of Tera Khongshangbi and Md Ithem (27) of Kwakta Pangal Lamkhai.
After thrashing the three, the leader of the gang said they were thrashed for not stopping on time.
