Imphal, March 21 2009:
An anti natal health care camp for pregnant women was organised by the Rural Women and Children Development Welfare Association, Taobungkhok under the sponsorship of MACS under its objective of Prevention of Parents to Child Transmission (PPTC) Outreach Service Through Village Health Committee at Taobungkhok Makha Leikai today.
Altogether 62 pregnant women were given the benefit of free HIV test, blood pressure check-up etc.
The camp was conducted by one doctor, one counsellor of RIMS and some nurses with the assistance of ASHAs and Anganwadi workers.
