Imphal, May 26 2009:
Under its initiative to imbibe basis health awareness and maternity training amongst literate village folks, the Red Shield Division of the Indian Army has opened a 12 weeks training course for 16 educated girls at 357 Field Hospital yesterday, conveyed a press release issued by the media cell of 57 Mountain Division.
Red Shield medical officers would impart the required theoretical and practical training to the participating girls, christened "Health Angels".
The training course was inaugurated by AWWA Red Shield president, Mrs Madhu Gurung.
