Imphal, May 26 2009:
The Tangkhul Leishak Long (Tangkhul Trade and Commerce Union) has closed down Victoria Stall, Ukhrul, Wino Bazar for two days (May 26 and 27) on charges of selling stationery items in excess of the printed price to young students.
The owner of the stall is identified as one Doren.
Action Convenor of the Union, Thotshang Shaiza said that Victoria Stall has been repeatedly to stick to the price norms and the penalty is being imposed as a warning.
In case the stall does not mend its way then stringent action will be taken up in the future, said Shaiza.
