Imphal, November 08 2009:
Owing to failure of the Chief Minister to give a positive response to its demand, JN Hospital Employees' Welfare Association has decided to go ahead with its series of protests already announced.
According to a statement issued by secretary working committee of the Association, employees would show protest by wearing black badge tomorrow.
In the event of failure of getting any response even after the black badge protest, employees would go for a mass casual leave for four days from November 10 to 13 and this would be followed by mass resignation on November 21 .
The hospital, however, would remain open and run by JNIMS doctors, the statement added.
The Association has been demanding parity in pay and similar pay for similar work for similar grades.
