The Kuki Liberation Army-MC has sought the cooperation of the Kuki people in the armed group's campaign to for attaining separate administrative boundary of the Kukis.
A KLA-MC statement issued by its secretary of Information and Publicity Brandom S Kuki reminded all concerned that entering into talks with the Government by being a signatory to the suspension of operation truce could not transform the Kukis' dream for a separate homeland into reality.
It also informed that after assassination of its leader Letkholien Kuki in 2007 the group was reorganised and renamed as KLA-MC under the leadership of L Stephen and Johny Kuki as chairman and secretary respectively.
Brandom also issued a strong warning that any form of opposition to the KLA-MC's stand would not be tolerated.
