The JNIMS Hospital has now the facility of implanting temporary pacemaker as the upgradation works of the hospital in relation with the setting of the medical college is in progress.
Functioning of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) have also started.
Official source said that the hospital has now the facilities of treating heart disease with the facilities of implantation of pacemakers.
However, facility for implanting permanent pacemaker is yet to be provided.
ICCU having five beds for treatment of heart patient has also started functioning.
The ICU of the hospital recently opened has five beds for treatment of patients in coma.
However, officials observed of increasing to 15 beds.
The 200 bedded hospital has now increased to 300 .
