Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh led others in condoling the sudden demise of former Minister Z Mangaibou.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister remembered Mangaibou as a man of principle and great political vision.
He said, "A soft spoken person, who will be fondly remembered by all for his straightforwardness and good sense of humour .
On his demise, the State has lost a political leader, who always stood for the welfare of people" .
Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Gaikhangam has also condoled the death of the former Minister.
He said that Mangaibou's demise is an irreparable loss not only to the Congress party but also to the State.
Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress also condoled the death.
A condolence meeting in which the gathering observed a two-minute silence was held at its office.
Condoling the demise of Z Mangaibou, All Zeliangrong Students' Union (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) in a press release said that his untimely death is a big loss to the Zeliangrong community and nothing can fill up the void.
Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) also expressed shock and grief at the sudden demise of Z Mangaibou.
The Baudi also shares the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family members.
Zeliangrong Students' Union, Delhi (ZSUD) and Zeliangrong Welfare Association (ZWAD) also condoled the death of Z Mangaibou.
A condolence service was held at Zeliangrong Christian Fellowship, Prayer Center, Munirka at 6 pm today.
The congregation prayed that many more noble personalities like Mangaibou be born in the Zeliangrong community.
