Zeliangrong Students' Union, Nungba Area has warned the authority of launching various forms of agitations including bandh on NH 53 if their demand for redressal of their grievances is not fulfilled within November.
Conveying extreme misery over the alleged apathy of the government towards the people of Nungba area of Tamenglong district, a statement issued by co-convenor of the students' body, Khongjang pointed out that the demand for the posting of necessary numbers of doctors at Nungba CHC has fallen into deaf ear.
It stated that the x-ray machine at the CHC is lying unattended.
It therefore demanded posting of adequate numbers of doctors at the CHC in order to solve the health problem of the area.
It warned of launching agitations including bandh on NH 53 if their demand is not fulfilled by the end of November.
