Imphal, January 20 2010:
General secretary of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), CPI (ML), KN Ramchandran said his party would soon become a popular political party in Manipur.
Speaking to reporters this evening at the Manipur Press Club here, Ramchandran asserted that even as the country is an independent one, the system of governance in the country seems like tyranny.
He noted that the prices of commodities continue to rise even as the products are also increased.
Even as the government tries to give free education to children below 14, the capitalist class has monopolised it.
The CPI (ML) is committed to rectify the blunders of the government, he asserted.
He added that the party is also strongly against the violation of human rights in Manipur, killings unleashed by armed forces, imposition of AFSPA, unemployment problem, etc, in Manipur.
