Israeli musician Tal Kravitz enthralled Imphal crowd at the chilly winter fog filled bhagyachandra open air theatre in Imphal tonight.
Kravitz's non-stop musical encounter between the Israel classics and ethnic musical instruments including those of far away African drums etc and Scottish bagpiper evoked appreciation from the responsive audience of the musical evening.
The musical performance of the foreigner musician entitled as 'The Musical Journey of Tal Kravitz' was held in association with the colourful and talented artistes of the Rhythm of Manipur ,a popular musical group in Manipur under the aegis of Indian Council for cultural Relations and Embassy
of Israel.
Manipur's Internationally acclaimed film maker Aribam Syam was the chief guest of the show while Israel Ambassador Mark Sofer's wife Sarah and prominent Manipuri classical singer N Nabachandra Singh were the Guests of Honour.
Musician Kravitz was in Imphal since Wednesday to attend a day long indigenous musical instrument workshop held in coordination with the Rhythm of Manipurat Manipur Film Development Corporation complex at palace gate.
The Israel team will be leaving Imphal on Friday.
