Department of Science and Technology (DTS), Government of India has introduced Women Scientists Scholarship Scheme (WOS-C) to train women having degrees in MSc/B Tech/MBBS/B Pharm/M Tech/M Pharm/M VSc/ MS/MD/PhD in science discipline or equivalent in the areas of Intellectual property rights (IPR) and their management for a period of one year.
The scheme is being co-ordinated and implemented by Patent Facilitating Centre (PFC) of Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC) on behalf of DST, Government of India.
In this regard, Executive Director of Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC) Th Surendranath Singh has informed all the interested women scientists of Manipur to visit the Patent Information Centre, MASTEC, Central Jail Road, Imphal during office honours on all working days.

The last date of form submission for Manipur is December 27, according to a circular signed the Executive Director.
