RIMS unit of Trained Nurses' Association India has served an ultimatum to RIMS authorities for positive response within August 24 to its demands failing which the Association would cease work from the next morning.
The TNAI demands include issuance of details on reservation policy pertaining to promotion of nursing staff, regularisation of 153 nurses appointed on contract basis before any fresh recruitment is processed, establishment of nursing college in RIMS, creation of post of nursing staff as per Indian Nursing Council norms, maintenance of machineries currently out of order, supply of life saving drugs to the patients, provision of equipment/machinery for safe storage of drugs in every ward/section for efficient service, rectification of pay anomaly and release of pending GPF among other.
