The indefinite bandh imposed on NH 53 by Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur (ZSUM) has been called off with immediate effect after ZSUM representatives and the high power committee led by Works Minister K Ranjit arrived at an understanding today.
The meeting was also attended by Tamenglong DC T Panmei.
The indefinite bandh has been relaxed following initiation of talk with the State Government, said the ZSUM secretary while informing that picketing of Government offices in Tamenglong district will continue as before.
The ZSUM will hold talks with the Chief Minister tomorrow on the same issue.
