Text books distributed at Yairipok

A Government Primary School which was on the throes of death due to absence of students is now alive with a healthy number of students as a result of sustained efforts put in by local people and the school management committee.
Yairipok Changamdabi Government Primary School was almost on the verge of extinction a few years back as there was little or no student.
But this year, 523 students have been admitted in the school and it commenced its academic session from February 20 .
The school having classes KG to V has 12 teachers including hired ones.
Text books given by related Government department were distributed to students of the school today by Yairipok Changamdabi Gram Panchayat Pradhan Md Kamaruddin who is also vice-chairman of the school management committee.
