A month-long Co-operative Development Foundation Course organised jointly by National Co-operative Union of India (NCUI), New Delhi and Manipur State Co-operative Union (MSCU), Lamphelpat concluded at Kanankhu Community hall of Chandel district today.
In all, 32 members of various co-operative societies participated in the course.
The valedictory function was attended by MSCU president Kh Borekeshore Singh as chief guest, Managing Board member of the Union L Kantong Anal as functional president and Chief Executive Officer of MSCU B Kulachandra Sharma and District Co-operative Officer Micheal Bepol as guests of honour.
All those who spoke at the occasion stressed on the need to accelerate th pace of development of co-operative movement in the State and observed that it would help in improvement of the financial condition of the people.
Certificates were distributed among the trainees who successfully completed the course at the occasion.
