The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) once again drew the attention of the Election Commission of India to intervene in the DAN Government�s continued indulgence of violation of election Model Code of Conduct that came into force on February 29.In a letter addressed to the Election Commission of India, NPCC General Secretary Asu Keyho said on March 1, Nagaland Rural Development Minister Imkong L Imchen accompanied by a group of Ministers visited Longsa village under Mongoya Assembly constituency in Mokokchung district and donated Rs 50,000 to the villagers and also committed a sum of Rs 4 lakh for the construction of Agri-Link-Road.
The NPCC leader further stated on March 5, MARCOFED-a public undertaking which is funded cent percent by the State Government�organized an LPG Mela at Touphema village, Botsa and Chiephobozou in Northern Angami Assembly Constituency joining the celebration of completion of one year of the DAN Government.
He said the constituency happened to be the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio�s constituency and Touphema was his village and further disclosed that large number of villagers from nearby areas had availed LPG connection facility.
