Imphal, October 26 2008:
Referring to the news report about the KLO/KLA claiming responsibility for burning down a passenger bus at Lahorijan, Assam on October 23 in which two passengers were killed, the outfit has denied its hand in the incident.
A press release issued by KLO/KLA C-in-C Timothy Kuki asserted that the outfit were not involved in such acts of atrocity and ransom demand since August 22 this year following enforcement of the SoO agreement.
Saying that some gangs intent on tarnishing the image of the outfit might be behind the incident, Timothy Kuki asserted that Malsawm is unknown to them.
It further informed that all financial activities of the outfit have been handed over to Robinson Kuki.
