Imphal, May 25:
Reacting sharply to the statement of the UKLF published in media today in which the KLA was held solely responsible for the abduction of a Reliance official, the KLA has clarified that the KLA never kidnap anybody for no reason.
A press release issued by the KLA Central Information and Publicity Secretary Malsawm Kuki asserted that whenever KLA abduct anybody, it always made the issue public and the reasons made known to public as the outfit believes that the public has the right to know and discuss the issue.
As a matured organisation, KLA has a clear vision and a line of principle and the outfit sees no reason to abduct a worker of a private company like Reliance, that too for ransom, asserted Malsawm.
However, the KLA is surprised and termed the wild allegation of UKLF extremely unfortunate.
The UKLF citing the past story of the KLA and Victor Keishing is more hurting than anything else.
Expressing surprise at UKLF's interest in digging out the by-gone story of Victor Keishing when the same case is not doing anything good to anyone, Malsawm wondered as to why the UKLF took the case of Victor Keishing so special out of many instances of similar cases with other people in the past.
