The Immunisation rate among the children in Manipur is still very low despite the fact that timely immunisation can save the lives of children from various fatal diseases, Dr Kameshwar has stated.
Speaking as one of the resource persons during the Ist foundation day function of the National Charitable Hospital at INA Moirang Bazar today, Dr Kameshwar pointed out that the rate of immunisation among the children in Manipur is just 40 percent, thus 60 percent of the children are not vulnerable to the various fatal diseases.
