Imphal, March 07: Blue Hawk, Khurai defeated TRAU, Kwakeithel by 36 runs to advance into the semi final of the 1st State open cricket tournament 2006 for Kangla Cup being played at THAU ground.

electing to bat first on winning the toss in today's match, Blue Hawk piled 219 runs loosing all its wickets in 33.2 overs with Joychandra emerging as the highest scorer with a 52 ball 48 while Sanahal contributed 35 (43) runs.

The TRAU run chase came to a halt with 183 on board as the over dried up.

Joychandra, who also took two rival wickets was named man of the match.
