Imphal, March 07: Strongly condemning thrashing of four All Manipur Taekwondo Association officials by KYKL activists on February 26 Thangmeiband Apunba Nupi Lup prevailed upon all underground organisations to refrain from any action that could have negative repercussion or demoralise sportspersons of the state.

Contending that any internal dispute or misunderstanding within the sports association could have been solved without resorting to violent means, the described KYKL's severe action as a deterrent to the spirit of blood-brothers.

Stating that the armed outfit's conduct is against expectation of the common people, the women body reminded KYKL leaders of enormous contributions made by the victim taekwondo officials in promoting the sports discipline as well as in producing medal winners that brought glory to Manipur.
