Imphal, October 25: In yet another fraud case, one Takhellambam Shanta alias Sanaton Singh, who is the secretary cum CEO of a nondescript company known as Global Commerce India Limited with its Imphal division office located at Paona Bazar has reportedly gone missing after duping a large amount of money from his employees.

26-year old Shanta is son of Takhellambam Yaima and Takhellambam Ongbi Ruhini Devi of Lairenjam Sabal Leikai.

According to information received by the press, Shanta published advertisement on newspapers and appointed many persons to run the office after taking security deposit amount ranging between 10,000 to Rs 30,000 on the promise that the same would be refunded along with 10 percent PA after three months of appointment.

But instead of refunding the security amount, he did not even pay salary to his employees on one pretext or the other and went hiding after October 15 this year.

The aggrieved employees of the fake company has reported the matter and registered a FIR with the City Police Station on October 19 and the search for the missing trickster is on.
