Imphal, March 21: Underlining indispensability of preserving the historic Sana Konung (Royal Palace) Sana Konung Semgat Lup referring to its sixth general council meeting said public donations would be sought to renovate certain structures of the palace.

In consonance with the general council resolution mass campaign on material or monetary assistance would be launched throughout the State from March 24 onwards, said a release.

for convenience of donors a donation counter would be opened at the Royal Palace premise from the same day, it added and fervently appealed to the general public for generous donation.
