Imphal, March 21:
To pre-empt the outbreak of any violence between the two groups of the MPP, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Imphal West has imposed prohibition at the office of MPP under CrPC 144 from 6 am to 4 pm of March 22.In a notification, the SDM said that the prohibition order was issued as one group of the MPP had convened a meeting at the office of the party on March 22 which could have given room for violence to break out between the two groups.
