Dimapur, November 22 (NNN): The GPRN/NSCN (K) has cautioned police against carrying out �combat operations� against them (NSCN-K) in connection with the assassination of former DGP of Nagaland, late Hesso Mao, who was killed by the faction in Kohima recently.

The MIP secretary of NSCN (K) alleged that police had recently launched combat operations against NSCN (K) cadres in an around Kohima �in an offensive manner�.

The NSCN (K) said such operations were in complete violations of the ceasefire ground rules.
