Imphal, November 24:
The resolutions adopted by the UNC sponsored Naga Peoples' Convention to launch non cooperation movement against the State Govt is taking shape with Naga leaders and scholars undertaking hectic research works to rename rivers and other important places with indigenous Naga nomenclature.
A prominent Naga activist informed The Sangai Express that working groups comprising of Naga elders and scholars have been instituted to this effect while adding that the research work has been progressing at a favourable pace.
He further stated that the suspended economic blockade may be resumed any time as agreed upon in the recent NSF-ANSAM meeting at Kohima and observed that the State Govt is not forthcoming with any positive response to the conditional approach of ANSAM like providing security to student leaders under the Ministry of Home Affairs and inclusion of NSF in the negotiation.
