Imphal, February 25, 2010:
A football coaching camp organised by the 21 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 9 sector Headquarters at its battalion headquarters ground, Kakching concluded today.
The camp which commenced from January 27 was planned keeping in mind, enthusiasm and zeal for the sport in the State and to provide the young boys an opportunity to venture out and prove their mettle, said an AR release.
In all 22 young foot-ballers hand-picked after trials at various schools of the area were trained by an AFC qualified coach for one month, it said while adding that each of the players were provided full football kit.
