In a land dispute case, police have registered a case against a principal of a Don Bosco School and his three accomplices following a court order.
Police registered the case against the principal of Don Bosco High School, Senapati yesterday, Kashiprii, a resident of Mao Karong village in Senapati district yesterday, police said Wednesday following a directive of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Senapati.
The CJM, in one of the rulings on Tuesday after hearing to the writ petition filed by one LD John of Rikhumai Taphou village which alleged that the principal and his three accomplices of forcing the petitioner to sign to put his signature on a blank stamp in connection with refund of an amount of Rs 9,20,000 as cost of land, he bought.
In the petition filed in the court of JCM, LD John alleged that he was forcibly taken by the principal and his accomplices to Mao Karong village in the morning of February 19 last and threatened him to kill with deadly weapons like dao and sticks to sign the blank stamp.
The land in question was bought by him recently and he was forced to refund within 10 days.
Police booked the principal and his accomplices under section 347 (wrongful confinement for the proposed of extortion property0, 387 (extortion), 450 (House trespassing in and to the commission of an offence and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
Even though, the case against him and his three accomplices, police is yet to the principal and other co-accuses of the case, police here said today.
